Hi, I’m Andrei Frandes, a Full Stack Developer who enjoys building digital products that feel polished on the surface and dependable underneath. I started with a strong eye for user interfaces, but over time I became more interested in owning the whole journey of a feature: understanding the problem, shaping the experience, connecting it to real data, and making sure it works reliably in production.

My interest in development began in high school through math and computer science, where problem-solving first became something I genuinely enjoyed. That curiosity grew into a career built around learning quickly, working carefully, and turning complex requirements into clear, practical software that helps people and businesses move forward.

After completing a Full Stack Developer program with IT Career Switch, I moved into professional software development and continued expanding across the full stack. At ASC Technologies, I’ve worked on web and mobile products, helped modernize large application codebases, connected user-facing features with backend services, and contributed to the kind of maintainable systems that teams can keep improving over time.

Alongside that, through freelance work with Webcraft, I’ve delivered end-to-end solutions for clients, from early discovery and design decisions to development, e-commerce functionality, admin workflows, performance improvements, and deployment. This mix of team-based product work and client delivery has taught me to think beyond individual tasks and focus on outcomes: what the user needs, what the business needs, and what the codebase will need six months from now.

At ASC Technologies, I supported the UI development of Recording Insights—an enterprise compliance recording platform integrated with Microsoft Teams. I worked across both web (React) and mobile (React Native), building reusable, scalable components and improving overall UI consistency. On the web side, I modernized legacy code by migrating class components to functional components and optimizing rendering performance. For the mobile app, I implemented cross-platform UI features, enhanced navigation, and refined responsiveness. The platform includes a public-facing website, a complete public dashboard with the registry of carbon credits created and sold, and an admin dashboard where administrators can manage carbon credit records and related operational data.

The application uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, Material UI, Auth.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL to support authenticated admin workflows, structured data management, and a performant public experience. I also implemented reusable components, optimized image handling, server-side rendering, and interactive interface elements to keep the platform scalable, clear, and reliable as the carbon credit registry grows.
