Hi, I’m Andrei Frandes, a Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience building and shipping production applications in TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js, on AWS and Azure. I own products and features end to end: from data modelling and API design, through UI architecture and design systems, to deployment, monitoring and production support. I came into the industry with a strong eye for interfaces and grew across the stack, so I care as much about how a screen feels as about the services and queries behind it.

My interest in development began in high school through math and computer science, where problem-solving first became something I genuinely enjoyed. That curiosity grew into a career built around learning quickly, working carefully, and turning complex requirements into clear, practical software that helps people and businesses move forward.

At ASC Technologies I work on a SaaS communications and compliance platform, building features across web and mobile with React, React Native, GraphQL and NestJS, on top of the platform’s Azure infrastructure. I led the incremental migration of the Recording Insight application from legacy class-based React to a functional, hooks-based architecture, designed and shipped a 100+ component UI library that gave 20 engineers a single source of truth, and introduced the automated testing patterns the team now follows for new feature work.

Alongside that, as a freelance engineer with Webcraft, I delivered 10 production applications, platforms and e-commerce solutions as sole engineer: discovery and Figma design, Next.js and TypeScript development, PostgreSQL and Prisma data layers, Shopify builds, admin workflows, and deployment on AWS and Vercel with the monitoring and post-launch iteration that follows. That mix of team product work and solo client delivery taught me to think beyond individual tasks and focus on outcomes: what the user needs, what the business needs, and what the codebase will need six months from now.

At ASC Technologies, I supported the UI development of Recording Insights—an enterprise compliance recording platform integrated with Microsoft Teams. The application uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, Material UI, Auth.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL to support authenticated admin workflows, structured data management, and a performant public experience.
